Research status

Project status

An honest account of the prototype's current scope and the approvals it does not have.

AnankeNet is a private research prototype undergoing validation with synthetic data only.

Current position

  • The prototype is not operationally deployed.
  • No external, legal, privacy, evidence, or operational approval is claimed.
  • No real-world analytical performance claim is made.
  • Public materials describe principles and boundaries, not sensitive implementation knowledge.
  • Human review remains necessary at every stage where meaning is assessed.

What synthetic validation means

Synthetic validation can show whether a mechanism behaves as designed under controlled conditions. It cannot establish usefulness, accuracy, safety, legality, or readiness in an operational environment.

Passing a synthetic test is therefore an engineering result, not an authorization.

What remains external

Operational use would require qualified and appropriately scoped review covering legal authority, privacy, evidence handling, analytical performance, security, organizational governance, and practical usefulness. Those decisions cannot be manufactured by the software or its maintainers.

Until authoritative records support those decisions, the project remains a private, synthetic-only research prototype.
